Departments: If you have concerns over a
Complaint Departments integrity and found a
complaints procedure against that department
was not carried out properly, you can apply to
post a message in this section stating what
your grievance is.

Scottish Public Services
Ombudsman: I sent a complaint to this
body and received a reply from them stating
they recognized I had a genuine complaint but
stated for some obscure legal matter they could
not investigate the complaint. I asked them how
many complaints they get each year and how many
of them they actually investigate. They have
not responded to that request so far. Has
anyone else made a complaint to them and did
they investigate.

The Scottish Public
Services Ombudsman (SPSO) provides a
'one-stop-shop' for individuals making
complaints about organisations providing public
services in Scotland.
We deal with complaints about councils,
housing associations, the National Health
Service, the Scottish Executive and its
agencies and departments, colleges and
universities and most Scottish public
authorities.
